Naturally tender in nature, she NEVER left my side on my bed, in my bedroom, the entire time. She even lost weight alarmingly as she refused to leave my bed just to jump down to have her kibble, water, and wet food… so that I chose to put them on a tray ON my Queen sized bed! She THEN began to eat & drink properly, still being close to me as I rested & went thru recovery.

Now backstory on my mother. She’s been on dialysis for Syracuse Orange 2024 Women’s Basketball March Madness Tee shirt years. Her kidneys don’t work so toxins and fluids don’t get removed from her body like normal (she does not urinate). So doctors surgically connected a vein and an artery in her arm for maximum blood flow and every other day they insert 2 needles into this site. One takes blood out and puts it through the dialyis machine, removing excess fluids and toxins. The other returns the clean blood to her body. She goes for this 3 times a week.
